• We provide an excellent value selection of fibreglass and metal liner in ground pools and spas. Most pool companies today install only one type of pool and are often biased towards their direction of pool install. We stand apart, being without bias, to offer the pool that best suits your needs and budget.
  
  

• Metal liner pools provide the most flexibility for customization however, if you chose a fibreglass pool, we can offer selections from almost any one of the 10 fibreglass manufacturers across North America. Most fibreglass installers do not share this reputation and relationship with the various manufactures out there today.
  
  

• We are located in Stoney Creek and serve the Golden horseshoe from the Niagara Region to Mississauga, out to Brantford and Milton as well.
  
  

• Once you are satisfied to proceed with our company, we will meet again to begin preparation to install your pool. Our crews are in house and work exclusively with us. We carry a 2 million dollar liability insurance policy and are registered with several associations and cities to install swimming pools and spas in Ontario.
  
  

• We provide several work options depending on your needs. We can do as little or as much as you need. This means that if you wanted us to install your pool only and leave the decking and other landscaping out...not a problem. We will quote based on those needs and work if necessary with your other contractors in a synergy.
  
  

• Or we can provide you with any variation of a turn-key operation....from doing it all, supplying our sub contractors for electrical and gas hook-ups or using your preferences for same, while taking all the other custom landscaping work on to completion. Some clients prefer to work with only one contractor doing everything, while others prefer the flexibility to work with that one contractor, but also have us coordinate and work with a trade who is a friend or family member.
  
  

• Also equally important is that once on site, we do not leave until the job has been completed. A traditional install, with the standard 3 feet deck around the pool, should take approximately 10 days to complete; if not sooner. Additional hard-scaping is available and the norm for most of our clients and often times decided at the last minute, once the pool is in the ground.
  
  

• Upon completion, we instruct you on the operation and maintenance of your pool. We install A MINERAL IONIZATION water sanitizing process comprising of silver, copper and zinc. This eliminates most maintenance and needs for salt systems and chemicals, which both have proven to rust and deteriorate pool equipment.
  
  

• Warranties; 5 years on Equipment, 25 years to lifetime on Fiberglass pools.

I would like to relate our experience with our inground pool installation.  My wife and I would highly recommend Orchid Pools if you are considering a fibreglass pool.  Since I am a professional engineer I was interested in finding an installation company that operates and delivers at a higher standard.

 

First of all, the people you will be dealing with are courteous, hard working, conscientious and have the experience necessary to install a fibreglass pool in this climate. Every detail and concern was discussed up front and included in the contract.  Solutions were found to every issue arising from the installation and planned for in advance. Our yard had tight access requiring the use of conveyor belts to move excavated earth as well as lifting the fibreglass pool shell safely into our back yard with a crane.  Depending upon what options you want included, they will do their best to accomodate. During the installation there is constant communication about what is happenning.  The pool was installed  within the timeframe that was promised in a professional and above all safe manner.

 

The actual pumping, filtering and heating equipment is of excellent quality with service technicians available in the area.  We are very pleased with the ionization  water purification system installed.  This is a far superior system technically and functionally than the chlorine system we had for our previous above ground pool.  Not only does this system work well, ongoing operating costs are less than a chlorine system.

 

Once the pool was installed there were a couple of minor issues that were resolved expeditiously.  We asked this company to also close the pool at season's end.  Judging by how well the sump system worked during the winter months and how the covered pool looks this spring, we will have no major issues to deal with during the pool opening.
